Thanks so much for your comment Shannon! ...Awesome! Thanks so much for your comment Shannon! Karen also said not to wash with a cleanser in the morning. Maybe I will try doing that once I am done my Spectro Gel gentle cleanser. I would just feel so weird not washing in the AM but it make sense since I have such oily skin.
Thank you both for the tips!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16420764870045672550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504494258834510789.post-90218860378278977392010-11-26T03:16:47.193-08:002010-11-26T03:16:47.193-08:00Being nearly 32 - with the blemish problem of a te...Being nearly 32 - with the blemish problem of a teenager, I always make sure to add something with benzoyl peroxide in it.

My regime has changed a lot over the years but lately this one has proven to keep everything under control:

PM-gentle cleanser (cetaphyl...this stuff is weird because it doesn't froth, but I find that it down't take the moisture out of my skin - which ultimately makes it MORE oily than before)

toner - I've used all kinds of toners, but I always make sure there isn't any alcohol in it

benzoyl peroxide - honestly, I buy the Proactiv repairing lotion. I used Proactiv for 7 years...and then one day it stopped working and I had to experiment with a new regime. But the benzoyl peroxide in the repairing lotion is perfect for my kind of acne.

night cream - Again I've used a variety of stuff but currently I'm a big fan of the Ole Henrikson night gel (I got a 3 piece kit from Sephore including their collegen boosting "Truth Serum" and "sheer transformation moisturizer)

Moisturizer - I generally use ceptaphyl...but right now I'm using Ole Henriksen "Sheer Transformation". Cetaphyl is a bit heavier moisturizer...but sheer transformation is SO light and awesome.

eye cream - I use Avène. It's light and moisturizing and doesn't make my under eye concealer crack.

....then I sleep

AM - water wash ONLY...no cleanser at all. Just an as-hot-as-I-can-stand washcloth with

Then Ole Henriksen Turth Serum then Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation then my eye cream.

So far this has worked for me for the past 3 months...fingers crossed it sticks (hahaha)

I love this blog BTW. LOTS of great info - and HOLY crap you DO have a lot of products!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11416153484723713223noreply@blogger.com
